Center the view
Center takes whatever is in front of you and makes it the new front: your windows come back in front of your eyes. Use it after you turn your body, change seats, or when the windows slowly slide away.
iPhoneAndroidCenter your windows in Space
Section titled "Center your windows in Space"- Look up (or move the cursor to the very top) to see the strip.
- Aim at Center and tap the phone.
Or tap Center at the bottom of the phone's controller, without looking for the strip.
Everything comes back in front of you. This works in Spatial with Space (see Choose a mode).
To bring just one window in front of you, open its menu (the three dots on its bar) and tap Bring to center.
Where there is no Center
Section titled "Where there is no Center"In Theater, in Screen and in the HUD, the strip has no Center. In Theater and Screen the glasses place the screen themselves, so there is nothing for MiruXR to move. In Screen, the glasses hold it in place the same way XREAL's own Anchor mode does.
Recenter a 360 video
Section titled "Recenter a 360 video"While a 360 or VR180 video plays, its bar has a recenter button (a target icon) next to the close button. Look where you want the front of the video to be, and tap it, or tap Center on the phone.
Bring the laser pointer back
Section titled "Bring the laser pointer back"With the Laser pointer, you aim by moving the phone. If the cursor ends up far from where the phone points, tap Center laser at the bottom of the controller. It puts the cursor back in the middle.
In VR games Android
Section titled "In VR games "VR games have their own way to center, from your controller or from the MiruXR notification. See Play a VR game.
If the view keeps drifting
Section titled "If the view keeps drifting"- Right after you connect the glasses, keep your head still for a few seconds. MiruXR uses that moment to learn your glasses' sensors, and drifts less afterwards.
- Then tap Center.
- If it keeps sliding away, see Head tracking problems.
